This is for the SCOFFERS who SCOFF at the FACT that the following verses do not apply to them...

1 Corinthians 15:51  Behold, I tell you a mystery: WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP (DIE), but WE shall all be changed -
1 Corinthians 15:52  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and WE shall be changed.

Who is the WE in the verses above?

It is NOT You & I...

It is the writers (Paul & Sosthenes) of the epistle (letter) and the recipients (the Church at Corinth).

So the FACTS are that Paul said that some of THEM would NOT DIE before the DEAD were Resurrected and those who were LIVING would be CHANGED at the LAST TRUMPET.

So WHY are the MAJORITY of BELIEVERS today still waiting for the RESURRECTION, the LAST TRUMPET and the RAPTURE (IF they believe in the Rapture) to occur?

That would mean that the Apostle Paul was WRONG!

If the Apostle Paul was wrong about that then maybe he was wrong about other things as well.

If Paul was wrong then his writings in the Bible are not INSPIRED are they?

If they are NOT INSPIRED then Paul's writings should not be included in the Bible!

I can hear some of you now...

"No, Don it is NOT Paul or those who are waiting for the Resurrection that are wrong, It is you that is wrong!"

So what you are saying is...

Even though Paul's letter was written to the Church in Corinth it was not meant for them but it was meant for those living 2,000 years in the future or maybe 10,000 years in the future if those people are still waiting for the Resurrection.

Do you think the Church in Corinth thought that what Paul said to them was actually meant for others?

Do you really believe that Paul thought that what he said was meant for people living far into the future?

If you do then that would make Paul a LIAR!

Therefore, Paul has to be a LIAR or he has to be WRONG in order for your FUTURIST BELIEFS to be RIGHT.

I think Paul was RIGHT and the Futurists are WRONG and most are too BRAINWASHED to change their beliefs.

If you still believe that 1st Corinthians 15:51-52 apply to you then I have a question for you...

Do you have Paul's room ready?

He may be coming to spend the winter with YOU...

1 Corinthians 16:6  And it may be that I will remain, or even spend the winter with YOU, that you may send me on my journey, wherever I go.

The Apostle Paul talks about the same thing in 1st Thessalonians...

1 Thessalonians 4:15  For this we say to you BY THE WORD OF THE LORD, THAT WE WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN UNTIL THE COMING OF THE LORD WILL BY NO MEANS PRECEDE THOSE WHO ARE ASLEEP (DEAD).
1 Thessalonians 4:16  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1 Thessalonians 4:17  Then WE WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR. AND THUS WE SHALL ALWAYS BE WITH THE LORD.
1 Thessalonians 4:18  Therefore COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS.

Who is the WE in the verses above?

Again, it is NOT You & I...

It is the writers (Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy) of the epistle (letter) and the recipients (the Church of the Thessalonians).

So the FACTS are that Paul said BY THE WORD OF THE LORD, that some of THEM would be ALIVE UNTIL THE COMING OF THE LORD and that THEY would be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with the DEAD IN CHRIST and would ALWAYS BE WITH THE LORD.

So is Paul WRONG again or telling another LIE?

If he is then it applies to CHRIST as well because CHRIST said...

Matthew 16:27  For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
Matthew 16:28  Assuredly, I say to you, THERE ARE SOME STANDING HERE WHO SHALL NOT TASTE DEATH TILL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM."

Jesus was talking to his Disciples. Which Disciples do you believe are still alive?

Read 1 Thessalonians 4:18 again.

If you don't believe that the events of 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 have occurred yet then explain how it will be a COMFORT to the Church of the Thessalonians when they do finally occur? They have been in heaven now for almost 2,000 years. How much more comfort do they need?
